Bathroom Waterproof Varnish Stain/varnish/waterproof Bathroom Floor?

Stain/varnish/waterproof bathroom floor? - bathroom waterproof varnish

What is the quick and easy to paint, a small bathroom Wodden floor. There is a product that has no stains and water at the same time? Or do I need to sand the floor, then stain and varnish, and is waterproof?

Are you sure that you make sure that the surface is smooth, as most accidents happen at home in the bathroom.

I am an interior painter, in Massachusetts.

The mesh must be answered "about to hit a colored polyurethane on the floor and take it, but this is a scam for you and could cause problems in the future.

I assume you have an old floor that needs to be done to look cool.

I suggest the following for a good job on the ground.

1. Advantage of the new spot color to the old place, which is already going on the ground or perhaps a little darker.

2. Sand finish is not bright at all.

3. Sweep and vacuum all the dust from the sand.

4. Apply the stain on the floor.
a. gloves and apply a patch saturated rag the patch to an area on Earth.
b.Now, with a dry cloth to wipe the excess stain and soil offer up to a uniform color.
c. Continue until completely pollute the earth.

5. After stained floor is dry, lightly sand, wipe, dust and vacuum. (If the soil is dry vitiated by a fan can see the grain of the wood floor increased. This is generally not recommended because the words will not be easy later.)

6. To ensure a smooth floor is now time to make a sanding sealer on the floor with a brush. (If you're not too worried about the corn, go to step 8.)

7. After the sealer has dried, usually on sand are easy to dust and vacuum.

8. You should now be brushed on three coats of polyurethane. (What would you do, a few weeksDS)

CAUTION: When grinding, use a mask or respirator and working capital in the bathroom - that's the rest of the house will get clean.

Recommendations:

1. Imagine meets at every step a product - under any circumstances.

2. An important step is the actual protection of the application of polyurethane. I suggest a soil as Minwax ® Polyurethane Polyurethane Floor Water - If you do this project for some weekends can be easily cleaned with water.

Thank you for your time,

I think Thompson is a polyurethane varnish, you can buy different color stains. You are to dry the brush with a big brush. I think it takes three layers to make it waterproof.

I think you should consult a color business with a good reputation. There are marine stain and varnish, but I do not know if it can be used in the house. Like the other poster said, I think it can become a danger to the safety since the surface is slippery when wet.
