I read that the paper half of its nominal costs jumped, but the link address to the nominal value of the actual costs. What is the best investment? What is the interest to accumulate the same way?

Both paper and electronic EE bonds earn the same fixed interest rate (currently 0.70%).

Example:

If you buy an EE bond 50.00 fee, you pay off 1 / 2, if the value starts to be interested to earn $ 25.00.

When buying an electronic links EA 50.00 fee, you pay the full face value, so that they begin to earn interest at $ 50.00.
